About
Alsik Hotel & Spa is a hotel in Sønderborg with a large spa on the ground and first floors. The ground floor holds Alsik Spa Pool with an indoor pool, two outdoor infinity salt-water pools overlooking the Alssund strait, a hot tub, a steam bath, a sauna and the Aurora Cave; according to the operator it is a hotel spa beyond the ordinary.
On the first floor is Alsik Nordisk Spa (an extra purchase) with a herbal sauna, a Mystic Dome Sauna, a panorama sauna overlooking Alssund, two steam baths, an ice room and a relaxation lounge with infrared chairs. A spa day can be bought without staying at the hotel, and booking ahead is recommended.

Rules and good to know
- In the pools and the Nordic Spa, swimwear of an approved material is worn after washing hair and body; being without swimwear is allowed only in the saunas in the changing rooms
- Aufguss takes place in swimwear and on a towel, and you should rinse after the sauna
- Spa access is from 16; the Nordic Spa is adults only (18+) according to the etiquette page, while another page says 16+
- Children of hotel guests may enter with an adult only at set times
- The spa is smoke-free, outside food and drink are not allowed, and bags are not taken into the spa
- Cancelling less than 12 hours ahead is charged at 100%

According to the operator there is a motorway to Sønderborg, an airport, and direct trains from Copenhagen, Odense, Fredericia and Kolding
A car park (Apcoa) stands opposite the hotel: the first two hours are free, then 16 DKK per hour, up to 140 DKK per day
