AQACUR Badewelt is a municipal spa and sauna centre in Bad Kötzting in the Bavarian Forest. According to the operator it includes a sports and fun pool, a Thermarium, a summer outdoor pool and a sauna landscape with a sauna garden.
The sauna world offers a Finnish sauna with regular infusion ceremonies, a bio sauna (sanarium) with colour light, a steam bath, a stone bath, and a herbal sauna in the garden. The wellness oasis offers peelings, hamam and rasul; treatments are only possible in combination with a sauna visit.

Applies to the indoor pool and the sauna (winter operation). The outdoor pool is open daily in good weather from Whit Saturday to early September (Mon–Fri 11:00–20:00, Sat–Sun 10:00–20:00). In summer (8 Jun–14 Sep 2026) not all saunas may be running, but always at least two Finnish saunas and a steam bath. Special Christmas hours and closures: closed 24 Dec, maintenance weeks 21–25 Sep 2026 and 12–16 Apr 2027; see the operator's site for details.

Rules and good to know
- The sauna is a textile-free area; enter only in a bathrobe or a towel covering the body, and use saunas and sauna pools unclothed
- Outside the saunas (rest areas and gastronomy) a bathrobe or towel is mandatory; sunbathing in the sauna garden is the exception
- No bags in the sauna; sit on a towel, also under your feet
- Under 16s only with an adult in the sauna
- Reserving loungers is not allowed; no glass bottles
