AquaMadre is a hammam in Rome that offers the "Roman baths" as a gradual circuit of rooms from the hottest to the coldest. According to the operator, it is a quiet place with the scent of incense and slowly flowing water.
The circuit runs through the tepidarium (34 °C), the calidarium (45 °C, 100% humidity) and the frigidarium (26 °C). It includes hot water ablutions, a scrub with a kassa glove and black olive oil soap, and finally a rest in the relaxation room with tea. Massages and treatments can be added.
