About
Bagni San Filippo is a small village in southern Tuscany between Val d'Orcia and Monte Amiata. The main draw is the freely accessible Fosso Bianco hot springs, where water emerges at about 48 to 52 °C and cools as it flows down the stream.
The lower area has no facilities: the bathing pools formed naturally and visitors shape them with stones and branches. A forest path leads to the white limestone formation Balena Bianca. The paid Terme San Filippo pool is closed for renovation, according to the website.
