Berg- & SPA Hotel Gabelbach is a hotel with a wellness area in the Thuringian Forest near Ilmenau. It sits at 777 m in the middle of the forest below the Kickelhahn hill, about 3.5 km from the town centre.
The wellness area has a pool (12 x 8 m), a 90 °C Finnish sauna outdoors, a 75 °C aroma sauna, a 60 °C sanarium, a 45 °C steam sauna, several relaxation rooms, experience showers, foot baths and an ice fountain. According to the operator, different infusion sessions (Aufguss) take place in the saunas daily. External day guests are welcome after booking by phone.
