About
blu is a sports and leisure pool with a rooftop sauna world in Potsdam. It is run by Bäderlandschaft Potsdam and, according to the operator, is divided into three areas: blu sport (a 50 m pool with ten lanes), blu familie (a leisure pool with water slides) and blu sauna.
The sauna world is on the roof, covers over 2,700 m² and, according to the operator, offers several saunas, a steam bath, an oriental hammam, relaxation areas, a large roof garden, a fireplace lounge and a sauna bar. Infusion and scrub ceremonies are put together by the sauna masters on a regularly updated schedule.

Last admission to the sauna is 120 minutes before closing, to blu familie 90 minutes and to blu sport 60 minutes before closing. On public holidays the Sunday hours apply. On competition days the sports pool hours change; the sauna and blu familie are unaffected.

A sauna ticket also covers the other areas of blu. Overstaying costs 3.00 € for each started half hour, after that the day ticket price applies. The operator also offers family and group tickets and a regular-customer card with a 7–15 % discount.

- The sauna is a textile-free area: the sweat rooms are used without clothing; loungers need a bathrobe or a dry towel, and the sauna bar needs a bathrobe or a bath towel
- Use a towel large enough to sit or lie on, including your feet; shower before entering
- Infusions may be carried out by staff only; keep quiet during a ceremony
- Phones, cameras and devices with a camera are not allowed in the sauna
- Children under 16 may enter the sauna only with an adult
- On the second Tuesday of each month the sauna is women-only from 10:00 to 22:00
