About
Bogácsi Gyógy- és Strandfürdő is a thermal bath and open-air pool complex in the village of Bogács in the Bükk foothills of Hungary. According to the operator it has 11 pools in summer, six of them with medicinal water; out of season six medicinal pools (one covered) and the covered adventure pool stay open.
The grounds include a sauna world with Finnish saunas, a bio sauna, an infrared sauna and a steam cabin. The baths also have their own accommodation, massage and medical services.

Valid from 1 Oct 2026 to 30 Apr 2027. Pools must be left 30 minutes before closing. From Monday to Friday one Finnish sauna is in operation, at weekends two; the steam cabin only on Saturday and Sunday.

Things to keep in mind
- The Iker II pool is temporarily closed, according to the operator
- Out of season the sauna opens only in the afternoon (13:30 on weekdays)
- Parking is paid and the machines accept neither cards nor phone payment
- Most medicinal pools are open only from age 18

Rules and good to know
- The operator asks guests to read the house rules on its website before using the baths
- Sauna: with heart disease, high blood pressure or pregnancy, sauna use is not recommended; if unsure, consult a doctor
- A sauna sheet is lent against a deposit paid at the main ticket office
- Some pools have age limits (e.g. the large medicinal pool from 6, the Iker pool from 18)
Getting there
By car: from the M3 motorway, Mezőkövesd exit, a little over a quarter of an hour according to the operator
By public transport: Bogács has no railway station; take a bus from Eger or Mezőkövesd; in summer a bus runs from Miskolc without changing
Parking: main car park 500 HUF per hour or 1,000 HUF per day, green car park 400 / 800 HUF, paid 8:00–18:00
