About
CalaSpa is a sauna and wellness centre in Kehl-Sundheim, right next to Strasbourg. According to the operator it has 2,190 m² indoors and 6,000 m² outdoors and holds 4 Wellness Stars. It is a textile-free area, and the Hotel Calamus on the same site has direct access to the spa.
The sauna world consists of six saunas, a steam bath and the Salarium (a salt room with Himalayan salt). The garden has a heated outdoor pool at about 32 to 34 °C; the operator says the natural swimming pond is closed until further notice. The spa also offers massages and cosmetic treatments in five treatment rooms.

Rules and good to know
- Admission from age 16
- Textile-free: close-fitting clothing is not worn in the sauna and pool areas. According to the operator you do not have to be fully undressed and may cover yourself with a towel, sauna kilt or bathrobe at any time
- In the indoor relaxation rooms, restaurant and bistro a bathrobe, towel or suitable clothing is required
- Always use a sufficiently large towel to sit or lie on in the sauna
- Switch mobile phones off and leave cameras and laptops in the locker
- Smoking is banned indoors
- Food and drink brought from outside may not be consumed; a restaurant is available
- There is no ladies' day yet; the operator says changes will be announced on the website and social media
- Booking is required only for massages and treatments

By car: Boschstraße 6c, access via the extension of Am Sundheimer Fort, 160 free parking spaces
Bus: Rheintalcenter stop, about 280 m from the spa
By train: Kehl main station, 13 minutes from Strasbourg and 18 from Offenburg; from there about 5 minutes by taxi or by bus
