About
CamboMare is a pool and sauna centre in Kempten in the Allgäu. According to the operator the Badewelt covers 2,200 m²: a 25 m swimming pool with 6 lanes, a lagoon with a current channel (about 32 °C), a year-round outdoor pool, a toddler area and, in summer, an outdoor pool complex.
The sauna village offers, according to the operator, eleven different saunas, among them a smoke sauna, an earth sauna, a herbal sauna and a salt hut, plus an outdoor pool, a natural swimming pond, relaxation rooms and the Hoigarta restaurant. Infusion sessions (Aufguss) take place all day, says the operator, using only natural essential oils.

Last sauna entry is 21:00 in summer and one hour before closing in the winter season. The operator says the hours also apply in school holidays and on public holidays. Current exceptions (events, closures) are listed on the website.

Rules and good to know
- The sauna world is textile-free (no swimwear) according to the price list
- Children under 16 may enter the sauna world only with an adult
- Children under 11 may enter the Badewelt only with a guardian
- Photography and filming are prohibited; phone and tablet cameras must be covered with a free sticker from the cash desk
- On Tuesdays the sauna world is women-only all day (except Bavarian school holidays and public holidays)
