About
Cascade Cave and Adventure Bath is a spa and fun complex in the village of Demjén at the foot of the Bükk hills, about 12 km from Eger. According to the operator it belongs to the Cascade Resort & Spa hotel, and the Demjén thermal spa with an aqua park stands next to it.
According to the operator, one cave bath ticket also covers the whole Demjén thermal spa and aqua park: outdoor pools, sun loungers, slides, saunas, the covered wellness area and evening bathing. Parking and lockers are free across the grounds.

The pool area and slides close 30 minutes before closing time. On weekdays the slide park runs from 11:00, at weekends from opening to closing. According to the operator it is open continuously on public holidays; during school breaks hours may change (the autumn break 2026 has its own schedule).

Rules and good to know
- Saunas are used without swimwear, wrapped in a towel or sauna sheet that covers the intimate parts; a towel or sheet is compulsory in the saunas
- A shower is compulsory before saunas and between them, and before using the plunge pool; slippers are compulsory in the sauna anteroom
- The sauna is not recommended for children under 14
- Children under 120 cm (except on the children's slides) and non-swimmers may not use the slides
- Children not yet potty-trained must wear special swim nappies
- Entry is by chip wristwatch, returned on leaving; losing it costs 3,000 Ft
Getting there
The complex lies on the edge of Demjén, about 12 km from Eger and 120 m from the first house of the village
From Budapest it is 128 km, under 1.5 hours by car according to the operator, via road 3 from the Kerecsend exit or the M3 from the Füzesabony exit
By bus to Eger, then change to the local bus from the Petőfi utca stop (about 20 minutes)
