Centre thermal d'Yverdon-les-Bains
Thermal baths & spa towns
About
The Yverdon-les-Bains thermal centre lies at the southern end of Lake Neuchâtel in a wooded park and is part of the Grand Hôtel & Centre Thermal. According to the operator the water is sulphurous; the spring tapped in 1982 is 29 °C and is said to help joints, airways and muscles.
The indoor part of the baths has been closed since 11 January 2024 for a rebuild costing about CHF 40 million; completion is planned during 2027. For now two heated outdoor pools, a temporary outdoor sauna and a heated yurt for resting are open. There is no hammam.
