About
Csepeli Strandfürdő stands on the bank of the Soroksár Danube branch in Budapest, on about seven hectares of green space. According to the operator it was built by 1961 on mineral water from boreholes and has a swimming pool, an adventure pool, a children's pool, a thermal pool and a sauna.
In winter operation the grounds include a sauna in a separate wooden cabin with a cold plunge pool. According to the operator the thermal pool is heated to 36–38 °C and the 50 m pool to about 27 °C.

Pools and the pool area close 30 minutes before closing time. The site gives winter and summer schedules without switch-over dates, and the house rules say the operator sets the hours each year; check before visiting.

Rules and good to know
- The sauna needs a sauna ticket and a wristband; enter with the wristband and without slippers
- A towel on the bench is mandatory in the sauna
- Children under 12 may use the sauna only with an adult
- Eating, shaving, washing and drinking are forbidden in the sauna; the stove must not be sprinkled with water
- Children under 12 may enter the baths only with a responsible adult
- A ticket is valid on the day of purchase for one entry; leaving the grounds requires a new ticket
- Non-slip slippers are required in shared areas and a shower before bathing
- Using the pools in street clothes is forbidden
