DAS ERZ is a Medical Spa & Hotel in Crottendorf in the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge) in Saxony, in the middle of a forest. According to the operator it focuses on holistic health, stress reduction, detox and mindfulness; the house is furnished in Italian style.
The main building has two saunas according to the site, a mild bio sauna with infrared technology and salt air and a traditional Finnish sauna, plus two jacuzzis overlooking the forest. The operator says the wellness area (WaldSPA) is being extended with two more saunas, a steam bath (hamam) and relaxation areas. Hotel guests get unlimited access to the saunas and relaxation zones, and treatments can also be booked without an overnight stay.
