Der Steirerhof is a five-star wellness hotel on the edge of Bad Waltersdorf in Styria, run according to the operator as an adults-only hotel (children from 12). Its own thermal area of 3,000 m² is, according to the operator, open exclusively to hotel guests, not to outside visitors.
The complex has seven pools with 800 m² of water surface, ten saunas and a 28 m infinity pool, and in the 80,000 m² garden a natural pool and garden saunas. The thermal water comes, according to the operator, from its own spring at a depth of 1,200 m. The separate Ladies Spa is for women only.

By car on the A2 motorway to the Bad Waltersdorf/Sebersdorf exit, then about 5 minutes through the town and up the hill; the hotel sits above the town. Distances: Vienna 120 km, Graz 65 km, Salzburg 360 km
There is a free outdoor car park by the hotel with charging stations for electric cars
By train to Bad Waltersdorf station, where the hotel collects guests free of charge according to the operator (arrival time to be given 1 to 2 days ahead)
The Thermenlandbus runs from Vienna Hauptbahnhof for €20 each way; the hotel collects guests free of charge from the Heiltherme Bad Waltersdorf
