About
Dithmarscher Wasserwelt is a municipal swimming pool and sauna complex in Heide, Schleswig-Holstein, run by Stadtwerke Heide. According to the operator it offers a 50 m sports pool with diving boards, two slides (80 m and 20 m), a 27 °C outdoor pool, a 32 °C brine pool and a children's area.
The sauna world has four cabins: a Kelo log-cabin sauna (90 °C) in the sauna garden, a Finnish sauna (90 °C), a eucalyptus sauna (80 °C) and a Saunarium (60 °C) with coloured light. The operator says Aufguss sessions run every hour from 14:00 to 20:00.

Last admission is 45 minutes before closing. The brine pool opens at 9:00, on weekends only at 11:30; the children's pool and the slides always open at 10:00.

The Mehrwertkarte (prepaid card with a deposit of 5 €) gives a 10 % discount when topped up with 80 € and 25 % with 200 €. Wellpass and Hansefit members get the pool and sauna free.

Rules and good to know
- According to the house rules the sauna area is textile-free and the sweat rooms may only be used unclothed
- Loungers only with a bathrobe or a dry body-length towel; a large enough towel is required in the sauna
- Phoning, photographing and filming are banned in the sauna area, including smartphones and tablets
- No bath shoes in the sauna rooms; a shower is required beforehand
- Aufguss may only be carried out by staff
- Children up to 7 need an adult; so do non-swimmers under 12
- Guests must leave the pool and sauna 15 minutes before closing
