About
Dunaföldvári Gyógy- és Strandfürdő is a spa and bathing complex right on the Danube in Dunaföldvár, Hungary, about 400 m from the town centre at the foot of the Beszédes József bridge. According to the operator it has high-salt hydrogen carbonate medicinal water suited to musculoskeletal complaints, and the covered medicinal pool and treatment department work all year.
Further services include a Finnish sauna, an infrared cabin, massages, an underwater jet massage (tangentor) and group exercise in water. The outdoor swimming, learner and paddling pools are open from 1 June to 31 August; in the winter season only the indoor medicinal pool runs. The complex is run by Dunaföldvári Dunaparti Idegenforgalmi Kft.

Hours are for the winter season, per the operator. On 4 November 2026 it is closed because of a power cut. From 23 December 2026 treatments and group exercise are not available; it is closed on 24–26 and 31 December and 1–3 January, and reopens on 4 January 2027. The operator reserves the right to change this.

Prices are from the operator's web shop. After 14:00 entry is cheaper: student 1,500 HUF, pensioner 1,600 HUF, child 1,350 HUF, disabled 1,300 HUF. 10-entry passes and an annual unlimited pass (250,000 HUF) are also available. A family discount and a discount for town residents apply under separate rules.

Rules and good to know
- Children under 12 may enter only with a parent or adult
- Children under 14 may not use the medicinal-water pools
- In the medicinal pools, healthy people are advised to stay no longer than 60 minutes
- Slippers are compulsory throughout; a shower is required before the pools
- Guests with a skin disease may enter only with a medical certificate
- Pools must be left 15 minutes before closing
Getting there
The complex is about 400 m from the centre, at the foot of the Beszédes József bridge over the Danube, at Hősök tere 26.
By car, arrive at Hősök tere; the town lies where road 6, the M6 motorway and roads 61 and 52 meet.
On foot or by bike, follow the promenade along the Danube.
