Erlebnisbad Talsperre Malter is an indoor fun pool in Paulsdorf near Dippoldiswalde, right on the Malter reservoir in the eastern Ore Mountains. According to the operator it is one of the most attractive family-oriented leisure pools in the eastern Ore Mountains: there is a 25 m swimming pool with 3 lanes, a leisure pool with bubble loungers, a wild stream and massage jets, a 44 m water slide and an area for the smallest children with a mini slide.

The sauna area offers three saunas according to the operator (including a Finnish sauna and a herbal soft sauna, a sanarium), plus a Roman steam bath and an infrared cabin. Sauna guests have direct access to the reservoir and can cool off in it. There is also a bistro and aqua fitness classes.

Opening hours

Regular hours outside school holidays. During Saxon school holidays and public holidays the site gives Mon–Thu 10:00–21:00 (pool and mixed sauna), Fri 10:00–22:00, Sat 13:00–21:00, Sun 10:00–20:00. In holidays the sauna is mixed every day.

Prices

The reduced rate applies to children 6–14, pupils, students, trainees and severely disabled people (from 70 %) with proof. Children up to 5 pay 0,01 € per centimetre of height. Groups of 10 or more get 10 % off pool admission. Discount cards (100 / 200 / 300 €) give 10 / 12 / 15 % off pool and sauna entries. Aqua fitness: single class 13 €, 10-class course 130 €.
