About
ESSENSIO is a health and sports club with a boutique hotel in Erkrath near Düsseldorf, in the Düsselauen area. According to the operator, the wellness area, surrounded by garden and forest, has four individually designed saunas, a Kneipp wading area with warm and cold basins, a bright indoor space and a quiet relaxation room.
The sauna area has its own snack bar with a small warm and cold selection and drinks. The operator says a long sauna night runs on the last Friday of each month in the winter half-year, from 19:00 to 24:00, with aufguss ceremonies and an evening restaurant.

The Sauna & Wellness page gives two different sets of times: the Wellnessbereich block says Mon 16–22, Tue–Sat 11–22, Sun 10–19; elsewhere Sauna Tue–Fri 10–21, Sat, Sun and holidays 10–18, and on Monday members only (outdoor sauna 16–21). Check with the operator before visiting.
