About
Europa Therme is a thermal spa in Bad Füssing in Lower Bavaria, close to the Austrian border. According to the operator it offers thermal pools, a sulphur gas bath (Schwefel-Gas-Bad), a current channel, relaxation areas and catering; children are admitted from age 3.
The sauna area covers over 1,000 m² according to the operator: a Finnish Aufguss sauna (about 90 °C), an automatic Finnish Aufguss sauna (about 80 °C), a bio sauna (about 60–65 °C) and two herbal steam grottos. There is an ice fountain, plunge and bubble pools with thermal water, a winter garden, a balcony and a terrace.

The same hours apply on public holidays. Last entry to the baths is one hour before closing. On 17.12.2026 the baths open 7:00–12:00 and the sauna is closed; 24.12.2026 closed; 31.12.2026 baths 7:00–17:00 and sauna 11:00–17:00; 1.1.2027 baths 9:00–21:00 and sauna 11:00–21:00.

The price list on the site is marked as of 1 Nov 2024, so check current prices with the operator. Children aged 3 to 14 get 10% off single tickets. If the 2-hour early-bird or evening card is exceeded, the 5-hour price applies. From 9 to 30 Nov 2026 a Blue Week deal applies (thermal bath + Schwefel-Gas-Bad 20 €, bath + sauna 30 €).

Rules and good to know
- The sauna is for ages 15 and over
- Swimwear is not wanted in the sauna; the operator recommends a bathrobe or towel on the way to the sauna area
- Sit on a sauna towel, not on bare wood
- Showering is required before the sauna and before entering the pools in the sauna area
- In the sauna area you may bring your own drink, but not in glass
Getting there
By car on the A3 Regensburg–Passau towards Suben, exit Pocking (alternatively the A94 and the B12 to Tutting)
By train via Passau to Pocking/Bad Füssing station, then by bus
A paid underground garage is under the spa park (spa guests get 50% off)
