Hallenbad Ehrwald (the Family Bath) is run by Freizeitbetriebe Tiroler Zugspitze in Ehrwald, Tyrol. The old pool from 1974 closed in March 2023 because the building no longer met technical standards and was too costly to run.
After the rebuild, the renovated pool opened on 26 Oct 2026 as a soft opening, meaning regular operation while details are fine-tuned; the official opening ceremony with an open day is on 14 Nov 2026 (no swimming that day). According to the operator, the site includes a new timber building, a slide, a children's playground, beach volleyball and a sunbathing lawn.
