Franken-Therme is a thermal spa in Bad Windsheim in Franconia with brine thermal pools, a high-brine Hochsole area with the salt lake "Fränkisches Totes Meer" (26.9% brine) and a wellness department. According to the operator it is open 364 days a year, closed only on 24 December.
The operator says the sauna world covers 700 m² with eight saunas plus a snow sauna, four relaxation rooms and a sauna garden with a brine pool. Aufguss sessions take place every hour in the panorama sauna.

- Sauna cabins are swimwear-free zones; swimwear is banned there for hygiene, but you may wrap a towel around you
- The rest of the sauna world may also be visited in swimwear
- A towel must always be placed under you on the sauna benches
- Smartphones may not be used in the sauna world
- Glass bottles are not allowed; small snacks and drinks may be brought
Getting there
Bad Windsheim lies in the middle of the A3, A6 and A7 motorway triangle; enter "Franken-Therme Parkplatz" in your satnav (car park on Külsheimer Straße)
By train from Würzburg, Nuremberg or Ansbach with at most one change; from the station it is a few minutes' walk through the spa park
