According to the operator, Gran Baita is a luxury alpine 4-star superior hotel in Courmayeur, at the foot of Mont Blanc, a few minutes from the town centre and the ski lifts. It belongs to the ALPISSIMA Mountain Hotels group.
The wellness area is a "fitospa": a heated indoor and outdoor pool at 32 °C all year, a panoramic Finnish sauna, a steam bath (bagno turco), a gym and a relaxation area with a herbal tea corner. Hotel guests enter free; external visitors pay an entry fee.
