According to the operator, Herbarium Hotel&Spa is a four-star hotel in Chomiąża Szlachecka, about an hour from Poznań and Bydgoszcz, set in a six-hectare 19th-century park on the shore of Lake Chomiąskie. Herbs are the theme of both the hotel and the Herbal SPA; the operator says the garden "flows into" the treatment rooms.
The Wellness Zone has an indoor infinity pool with a view of the park and lake, a jacuzzi for up to 8 people and a saunarium (steam sauna with a mud-sauna function, infrared sauna, Finnish sauna and a sensory brine relaxation room). Rules and good to know

- In the saunas, wet swimwear is forbidden; when going without swimwear you must always be covered with a towel or sheet and sit on it

- Children up to 14 may use the pool only under adult supervision; children up to 3 only in waterproof swim nappies
- No smoking, alcohol, food or drink brought in, and mobile phones are discouraged; treatments must be cancelled at least 4 hours ahead
