About
Michels Wohlfühlhotel is a family-run four-star superior hotel in the Vulkaneifel in Schalkenmehren, a few minutes' walk from the Schalkenmehrener Maar lake. According to the operator, the VitalQuell wellness area covers 2,000 m² and is also open to day guests with a prior booking.
There is an indoor pool with 80 m² of water (29 °C) and a year-round heated outdoor pool of 60 m². The sauna world includes a herbal sauna, a Zirbenholz (Swiss pine) sauna with aufguss ceremonies, a brine steam bath, the ladies' LadySpa and a mixed Dorfplatz that can be used with or without swimwear.

According to the operator, the best way is by car on the A1, exit Mehren, then about 3 km to Schalkenmehren
The hotel is near Daun (about 8 km), Gerolstein (about 25 km) and Trier (about 65 km)
