About
Lalandia in Søndervig is a family holiday centre on Denmark's west coast, close to the North Sea. At its heart is the Aquadome with tropically warm water, a wave pool, water slides and children's water playgrounds. According to the operator it also has indoor and outdoor heated pools with massage jets and a sauna.
The sauna is a panoramic one, heated to 80 °C, with a view over the Aquadome and room for 70 people. Around it is a relaxation area with sun loungers, and cabanas with comfortable furniture can be booked. Wellness in the strict sense is more an add-on to a family water park.

Rules and good to know
- Shower with soap before using the pools, and again after using the toilet or sauna
- Only swimwear made of synthetic material is allowed; underpants and thongs are not permitted
- Children under 12 must be supervised by someone over 18
- Children under 3 must wear a neoprene nappy swimming costume, as must older children who still use nappies
- No food, drinks, chewing gum or snus in the Aquadome; eating is only at designated tables
- No diving or snorkels; animals and drunk persons are not permitted
- Only your own party may be photographed or filmed; GoPros are allowed only on the slides
- Use is at your own risk and the centre is not responsible for theft or lost items
- The whole centre including the Aquadome is smoke-free, e-cigarettes included
Getting there
Take the train to Ringkøbing, then bus 580 to Søndervig; the stop is opposite the main entrance. Connections are on rejseplanen.dk.
Parking at the main entrance: the first hour is free, longer stays are charged at the operator's rates.
