About
The Zábrdovice summer pool in Brno is run by STAREZ – SPORT, a.s. The original municipal baths, designed by architect Bohuslav Fuchs, opened in June 1932. According to the operator the site has three pools (a 50 m swimming pool, a pool with artificial waves and a children's paddling pool), a 73 m water slide, grassy areas with sun loungers and six sports pitches.
It is a seasonal outdoor pool, not a year-round sauna complex. The website says the 2026 summer season has ended and gives no dates for the next one. On the terrace of the main building there is a swimwear-free zone with loungers, parasols and showers, entry from age 18.
- Artificial waves up to 100 cm high, the only ones in Brno according to the operator
- A 73-metre water slide
- A 50-metre pool with two marked swimming lanes
- A swimwear-free zone on the building terrace, entry from 18
- Children's paddling pool, playground and beach volleyball court
