About
Lister Bad is an outdoor municipal pool in the centre of Hannover, which the city counts among its most popular open-air pools. According to the operator, up to 10,000 bathers come on hot days. It has a 50 m swimming pool, a non-swimmers' pool with a slide, a paddling pool and a large lawn with old trees.
A special feature is the 10 m diving tower and a diving pool with 1 m and 3 m boards and 5 m, 7.5 m and 10 m platforms. The heated hall with a channel into the 50 m pool is, according to the operator, popular with health swimmers in the morning and evening. The site says the 2026 season has ended and marks the non-swimmers' pool as unusable. The site does not mention a sauna; this is an outdoor pool.
