About
Lohengrin Therme is a thermal spa at the gates of the Bavarian city of Bayreuth, opened in 1999. According to the operator it is fed by the state-recognised medicinal spring Friedrichs-Therme, with 36 °C water from a depth of 1,122 metres. The complex consists of the Thermenwelt with about 1,000 m² of water surface, a sauna world and the Lohengrin Spa with massages.
The sauna world offers seven saunas from 55 to 95 °C, a steam bath, a stone bath, cooling and foot pools, a whirlpool and relaxation rooms. According to the operator an infusion (Aufguss) takes place every half hour. The sauna is traditionally textile-free and Tuesday is ladies' day.
