About
Martfű Hotel Thermal Spa is a three-star hotel with medicinal baths, an indoor swimming pool and a Scandinavian wellness area in the Hungarian town of Martfű by the river Tisza. According to the operator the baths are directly connected to the hotel and offer thermal pools, swimming and wellness in one place.
The complex has four medicinal thermal pools, a 33 m sports pool, a family pool and children's paddling pools (indoor and seasonal outdoor). The Scandinavian wellness is an extra charge and, according to the operator, offers a Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, bio sauna, steam cabin, ice cave, Kneipp pool, large jacuzzi, plunge pool and a sun terrace.

An older guest-information PDF gives different times (medicinal pools from 8:00, swimming pool 10:00 to 18:00, wellness until 17:30 on weekdays and 19:30 on Fridays and Saturdays); check the current situation. Pools must be left 30 minutes before closing. Night bathing needs a separate ticket.

Rules and good to know
- The wristband from reception must be worn throughout the stay
- A swimming cap is mandatory in the swimming and teaching pool
- A towel is mandatory in the sauna cabins; the sauna sheet is included in the wellness supplement
- According to the guest information, naturist sauna bathing (sauna without swimwear) is allowed in the saunas
- Children under 14 may use the sauna only with parents at their own risk; the medicinal pools are closed to them
- The paddling pool is for children up to 10; small children only in swim nappies
