About
Medi Therme is a Mediterranean-style thermal and sauna landscape in Bochum in the Ruhr region, by the Ruhrpark shopping centre. According to the operator it offers indoor and outdoor pools, 16 different saunas and steam baths, a restaurant by the pool and a garden of about 10,000 m².
The whole complex is textile-free: saunas, steam baths and pools are used without clothing, and elsewhere you may cover up with a sauna towel or bathrobe. Entry is from age 14 and only with an adult. Mobile phones and cameras are not allowed on the premises.

Prices from the official site. Rates marked with asterisks (42.50 €, 37.00 €, 31.00 €, 34.00 €) do not apply on holidays, in the Christmas holidays and on Rose Monday. The operator asks guests not to pay by credit card; cash and EC cards are accepted. Bathrobe hire 8.50 €, sauna towel hire 6.50 €. The site gives two different prices for the value cards with 10–17% discount (325–675 € in the FAQ, 350–700 € on the prices page), so they are left out.

- No food or drink may be brought in; only water in plastic bottles is tolerated
