About
Momina banya is a municipal mineral bath in a park in the town of Hisarya (Хисаря), Bulgaria. According to the operator, the municipality of Hisarya, it stands on the site of a Roman bath from the turn of the 3rd and 4th centuries, and part of a Roman wall and a brick Latin inscription survive in the building.
It underwent a large reconstruction from September 2022 that covered the main bath, the Turkish bath, the so-called royal bath and the spring intake. The operator describes it today as a balneo and rehabilitation centre. The 46 °C water is alkaline and, according to the operator, high in radon.
