About
Monte mare Rheinbach is a sauna and wellness resort with a sports and leisure pool in Rheinbach. According to the operator, the wellness house covers over 1,000 m² on two floors, with a 3,000 m² sauna garden for sunbathing and pools with water at 28 to 36 °C.
Indoors there is a theatre sauna with light, fog and sound, a low-temperature and a mental sauna, an infrared sauna, a steam bath and a salt and herb lounge. In the garden are a garden sauna for up to 200 people, a pond sauna and an earth sauna; infusion ceremonies are run by trained staff.

Sauna and water time always ends 30 minutes before closing. The outdoor pool is currently closed. On 7 Nov the pool and diving centre are closed all day for the Dive Trophy; the sauna is open as usual.

Price list dated December 2025 (sauna) and June 2025 (pool). Each further started hour beyond 2 and 4 hours costs 4.00 €; the pool has a 3 € per person surcharge at weekends and on holidays. The list also has an early-bird rate (Mon–Fri, check-in before 11:00); its amount could not be read reliably, so it is left out. Children up to 1 m enter the pool free.

- A bathrobe is worn in other rooms, especially restaurants and relaxation areas
- Smoking only outdoors; cannabis is banned throughout the complex
- Own food and drink are not allowed; you pay with the chip in your wrist key at the exit
- A lost key with chip costs 35 €
