About
Moorbad is run by the swimming club Moorhexen in Hohenmoor (part of Asendorf) in Lower Saxony. Club members dug the 24 × 14 m pool beside the Siede stream after 1948; swimmers get two thirds, non-swimmers a third with a slide. According to the operator it is natural, undisinfected bathing water fed by groundwater and river water.
The club's website states that, for insurance reasons, bathing is allowed for club members only. According to the operator the grounds have a shelter, a small bar hut and a spot for resting and picnics, where cyclists and hikers are welcome.

Getting there
By car, on foot or by bike, best along the Hoya – Sulingen link road (K14); just before crossing the Siede coming from Asendorf, the bath is on the left.
