Pelto Bad is a Finnish-style sauna complex in Sohnstedt, part of Grammetal near Weimar and Erfurt. According to the operator it offers 10 saunas, 10,000 m² of lawn for relaxing and good food, and is about 15 minutes from Erfurt and Weimar.
The outdoor saunas include the Kuuma Finnish log sauna, the half-buried grass-roofed Maa sauna, the Saunablockhaus log cabin with a wood-fired stove and the Löyly sauna, the largest, with infusion ceremonies. Indoors there is an electrically heated sauna and a Turkish steam bath. The site also has a restaurant, two relaxation rooms and rest houses with a fireplace.
