About
Rimske terme is a spa and business resort in Rimske Toplice, Slovenia; according to the operator it is Slovenia's oldest spa with natural thermal water. The wellness area is for guests aged 14 and over, and anyone can buy a ticket, no stay required.
The indoor and outdoor thermal pools are at 32–35 °C, with massage pools of warmer water. The Varinia sauna world offers Finnish, steam, infrared, salt and bio-herbal saunas, a cold plunge pool and relaxation areas. Under the operator's rules the saunas are used without swimwear.

Rules and good to know

- Swimwear is required in the pools; bathing without swimwear or in shorts or T-shirts is not permitted
- Photos and filming in the saunas are not permitted
- Food, drinks, glass objects and animals may not be brought in
- No more than 20 minutes in the water, followed by 20 minutes of rest, is recommended

By car on the A1 Ljubljana–Maribor motorway, exit Celje-East, then follow signs to Rimske Toplice (20–25 minutes); day guests park in the outdoor car park on the hotel entrance road
