Salvea (part of the emeis group) is not a classic spa or sauna venue but an outpatient rehabilitation centre with a gym in Krefeld on Westparkstraße. The wellness side is a salt grotto in the cellar vaults of a listed barracks more than a hundred years old.
According to the operator, visitors breathe mineral-rich air in the grotto among 17 tonnes of salt, with relaxing music, light effects, brine elements and a water cascade. No sauna or pool is mentioned on the pages checked.
