About
According to the operator, Salzparadies in Waldshut-Tiengen is a health and energy centre offering salt and brine treatments. It has a salt grotto, a Salionarium, a Licht-Kristallgrotte, a Strandgrotte (warm salt bath), a brine shower, a salt shop and a water bar; it works with crystal salt from Pakistan.
It is not a classic sauna centre: treatments are booked individually and by phone. The site states that new owners (Besa and Avni Krasnici) take over from August 2026, so check the prices before visiting.
- A salt grotto built from over 25 tonnes of crystal salt (per the operator about 70% humidity, 15–20 °C)
- Salionarium with a micro-fine brine mist
- Licht-Kristallgrotte with a salt bed, infrared warmth and optional UV light
- Strandgrotte: a warm salt bath instead of sand
