Sauna am See

Sauna

About

Sauna am See is a floating sauna in the Seebad Enge lido, right on Lake Zurich. According to the operator it offers a view of the Alps, fresh air and a cool-down in the lake, in the middle of the city. In winter months it is normally open daily.

As of 19 Oct 2026 the website says the sauna remains closed because of the low lake level: the floating concrete structure risks running aground and safe access (gangway, water, power) is not guaranteed. The operator points to its partner saunas, Sauna am See Uster and Sauna im Norden in Oerlikon.

  • Two mixed sauna cabins and one cabin for women (except Sundays)
  • Large outdoor area with direct access to the lake
  • Non-swimmer pool in the lake and a Finnish cold-water shower
  • Two relaxation rooms, a sauna café with soup and snacks
  • Monday is women's day
