About
H2O Herford is a spa and leisure-pool complex in Herford whose sauna world has 11 classic saunas and the Lumikide snow cabin. According to the operator it is an oasis of calm with a sauna landscape and a Nordic-style sauna garden.
The saunas come with a relaxation area with heated loungers, a Finnish rest house, an outdoor pool and whirlpools, and a sports bar in the garden. A sauna ticket also covers the pool area (Freizeitbad). The site states that the whole sauna world is a textile-free area, meaning no swimwear.

During the autumn and Christmas school holidays the sauna world is open until 23:00. Tuesday is ladies' day (dropped in the winter holidays, when the sauna is mixed). Dec 24 and 31 closed, Dec 25 closed, Dec 26 9:00–23:00, Jan 1 13:00–23:00.
