About
Solemar is a wellness and health centre in Bad Dürrheim in the Black Forest, with brine thermal pools and a large sauna world. According to the operator it covers over 13,500 m² and holds five Wellness Stars in the thermal bath category.
The operator says the Solemar Therme has 13 indoor and outdoor pools with brine of 3–7 % at 33–37 °C, three whirlpools and a brine geyser steam bath. The 4,500 m² Schwarzwald-Sauna offers seven themed saunas from 55 to 90 °C, a steam bath, an outdoor pool, a barefoot path, an ice grotto and a herb garden.

The till closes one hour before closing time. On Friday 4 Dec 2026 the whole centre closes at 18:00.

A surcharge applies on weekends and public holidays: 1.00 € for adults, students and pupils, 0.50 € for children. Students and trainees get a discount (e.g. 16.90 € for 3 hours of thermal baths). Family tickets and an annual card also exist. The family ticket price differs on the price page, so we leave it out.

Rules and good to know
- Ladies' sauna runs all day every Tuesday; it is not held during Baden-Württemberg school holidays or on public holidays, and in summer holidays it runs only 10:00–16:00
- The sauna is for ages 13 and over under supervision, 16 and over without
- Children under 3 may use only the baby pool; from 3 they may enter the brine pools under supervision
- Towels, bathrobes and swimwear can be rented at the till; the deposit is booked to your wristband
Getting there
By car from Stuttgart on the A81 take the Bad Dürrheimer Dreieck exit; from Karlsruhe take the A5 to Offenburg, then the B33 towards Villingen-Schwenningen
By train to Villingen-Schwenningen or Donaueschingen, then a local bus to Bad Dürrheim
Parking for visitors is free; the parking ticket is validated on site
