About
Spessart Therme is a thermal spa centre in Bad Soden-Salmünster in Hesse. Thermal brine from a depth of over 500 metres, a state-recognised healing water, flows into all pools. It offers a floating brine pool with 35 °C brine at about 10% salt, bubble pools, a current channel and, in summer, an outdoor wave pool.
The operator describes the sauna world by the spa park as four-star and textile-free (textilfrei). It includes a log-cabin sauna, a banja, an earth sauna, a herbal sauna, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath and a graduation tower in the sauna garden. According to the operator, infusions have been done exclusively with 100% natural essential oils since June 2024.

Pool and sauna use ends 30 minutes before closing. Special hours apply at Christmas and New Year, see the website. The outdoor wave pool has a winter break from 5 October 2026. The 25 m swimming pool is free for guests only at set times (Mon 15:30–21:30, Thu 10:00–14:30, Sun 9:30–17:30).

Prices are from the operator's admission page. A day ticket can be bought in advance in the online shop up to 21 days ahead. Multi-visit cards and the Spessart-Thermen-Card with a 6–10% discount are also available.

By car on the A66 Fulda – Hanau/Frankfurt, exit Bad Soden-Salmünster; car parks are in the spa district, the one behind the Therme is paid, all with charging points
By train on the RE50 Fulda – Hanau/Frankfurt to Bad Soden-Salmünster station, then about 20 minutes on foot (1.5 km)
By bus MKK-86 from the station to the spa district; by bike along the R3 long-distance route
