SILVANA is a municipal sports and leisure pool in Schweinfurt, run by the city utility Stadtwerke Schweinfurt and opened in 2005. According to the operator it has an indoor pool hall with sports, outdoor, children's and fun pools and a tunnel slide, a sauna world, and an outdoor area of more than 6.5 hectares with a 10 m diving tower.

According to the operator, the sauna world offers aufguss ceremonies, the soft Silvanium, a Finnish Kelo sauna, a ceremony sauna and a steam bath at temperatures from 50 to 90 °C. For relaxing there are a panorama room, a rest house, a sauna garden, an ice fountain, a plunge pool and a sauna bar. The operator cites a quality award from the German Sauna Association (Sauna Selection ****).

Opening hours

Hours apply from 15 Sep 2026. On public holidays and in school holidays it is open Monday to Friday 9:00–22:00 and there is no early swimming. Last admission is one hour before closing, and bathing time ends 20 minutes before closing.

Prices

Sauna prices as listed by the operator; the indoor pool prices are dated 31 Aug 2026. Reduced prices apply to children aged 6–15 and people with a disability of 50% or more, among others. A day ticket is taken on entry and the unused amount is refunded on leaving. Cards carry a 5 € deposit; top-up cards with a 5–20% discount are available.

Rules and good to know

• The whole sauna area is swimwear-free; the exceptions are the sauna bar and the rest rooms, where a bathrobe or similar cover is worn
• In a sauna cabin a sufficiently large towel must be laid underneath; the steam bath is used without a towel
• Under-16s may enter the sauna only accompanied by an adult
• Phoning, photographing and filming are forbidden in the sauna area
• Nobody may enter the cabin during an aufguss; leaving is allowed at any time
• A thorough shower is required before entering

City bus line 120 runs every 30 minutes during opening hours and every 60 minutes after 18:00 (stop SILVANA); line 160 can also be used (stop Turngemeinde)
