Stabilimento Curativo Nuove Terme is the therapeutic spa facility of Terme di Acqui in the centre of Acqui Terme in Piedmont, close to the railway station. According to the operator it occupies part of the building it shares with Grand Hotel Nuove Terme. It is about medical treatments rather than relaxation saunas.
The operator offers mud baths (fango-balneotherapy), balneotherapy, inhalations, treatment for rhinogenic deafness, pulmonary ventilation, vascular circuits in the pool, gynaecological treatments and motor and respiratory rehabilitation. According to the operator, the hyperthermal sulphurous and salt-bromine-iodine springs (75 °C and 50 °C) have strong therapeutic effects; many treatments are covered by the national health service (SSN) with a prescription.
