Südbad Saunalandschaft

Sauna

About

Südbad is a municipal indoor pool in Munich run by the city utility's M-Bäder service (SWM). According to the operator it joins indoors with outdoors: a floor-to-ceiling glass facade looks onto a lawn with trees, and in fine weather the facade doors are lowered so the hall becomes an "open-air pool with a roof".

The sauna area is 500 m² according to the operator and offers a Finnish sauna, a sanarium with coloured light, a steam bath (currently out of service), an open-air terrace and rest rooms. There is also a 25 m sports pool, a non-swimmers' pool, a children's paddling pool and an outdoor wellness pool with a current channel and massage jets.
