About
Szigetvári Gyógyfürdő (the Szigetvár thermal spa) stands in the centre of Szigetvár in southern Hungary. According to the operator it uses 62 °C hot thermal water, and the complex combines a summer outdoor pool area, a swimming hall, thermal pools, a fun pool and a medical treatment section; the total pool water surface exceeds 1,700 m². The interior is decorated with Zsolnay ceramics, and the operator says the exterior recalls Ottoman-era monuments.
The wellness area offers a Finnish sauna (95–100 °C), an infrared sauna, a jacuzzi, a steam cabin and a salt room. There are also medical treatments (carbonated baths, mud packs, electrotherapy, massages), a cafe on the gallery and a restaurant. The operator says the whole building is barrier-free.

The cash desk closes one hour before closing time, and the pools must be left 20 minutes before closing. On the holidays of 23 October and 1 November 2026 the same hours of 9:00–18:00 applied. The outdoor sports and children's pools run only in the summer season.

Prices are in forints including VAT and valid until revoked. Children under 4 enter free. The salt room alone is listed at 1,500 HUF on the price page and at 850 HUF on the salt room page; check with the operator. A sunbed costs 1,800 HUF per day and the locker needs a 1,000 HUF deposit. Multi-visit passes and night bathing (3,800 HUF) are also offered.

Rules and good to know
- According to the house rules swimwear is required in the premises and the pools; staying without it is forbidden
- Children under 14 may enter only with an adult
- A shower and foot wash are compulsory before entering the pools
- Food is allowed only in the lobby, on the gallery and outdoors, and smoking only in the designated place
- Rules for the sauna and other wellness rooms are posted at their entrances
- The salt room may be used only with a dry body and in dry clothing
