Szilva Termál- és Wellnessfürdő stands in Vásárosnamény on the bank of the Kraszna river, about 2 km from where the Tisza, Szamos and Kraszna meet, according to the operator. It has three indoor pools (thermal, water nursery and swimming) and one outdoor pool, and is open all year.
According to the operator, the thermal water rises from a depth of 700 m at 45 °C and is alkaline-hydrogen-carbonate; it has carried the medicinal water designation since March 2014. Wellness includes a jacuzzi, wet, dry and infrared saunas, a steam cabin, a salt room, an ice well, massages and a gym. The complex also has a 10-room guesthouse.

The opening hours page gives the pool closing time as 20:00, while the house rules ask guests to leave the pool area by 20:30; to be safe, count on 20:00. The house rules also say the baths are closed on the first Monday of every month for maintenance, which the opening hours page does not mention. During night bathing the house rules say to leave the pools at 19:30.
