Terme di Cretone
Thermal baths & spa towns
About
Terme Sabine di Cretone is a seasonal thermal complex in Palombara Sabina, about 30 km from Rome, set in greenery at the foot of a wood. The water is, according to the operator, calcium-sulphur at about 23 °C and feeds three large pools, one for children, with continuous water renewal.
The operator says the sulphur water has been known since antiquity for its therapeutic and cosmetic properties and has been recognised by the Ministry of Health since 1987. Besides entry it offers paid areas with loungers and parasols, and massages including a private jacuzzi.
