Terme di Trescore

Thermal baths & spa towns

About

Terme di Trescore is a curative thermal centre in Trescore Balneario near Bergamo that uses highly mineralised sulphurous water. According to the operator it is one of the few strong sulphurous waters in Italy, used for chronic conditions of the airways, ear, joints and skin.

The operator states plainly that it does not sell "wellness" but treatment courses: inhalations, mud applications, thermal baths with massage jets, water walkways for the leg veins and ear treatments. An admission medical examination is required. Courses are also covered by the Italian public health service (S.S.N.).

  • Highly mineralised sulphurous water (per the operator, one of few strong sulphurous waters in Italy)
  • Natural mud from its own quarry for mud therapy
  • Thermal bath and hydromassage at 36–38 °C
  • Water walkways with a warm (32 °) and a cold (28 °) corridor
  • Treatment for children from 30 months, with a playground in the park
