Thermapolis
Thermal baths & spa towns
About
Thermapolis is a thermal water centre in Amnéville (Lorraine, France), open since 1996. According to the operator it covers 2,800 m², with indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, steam baths, a lazy river and themed areas inspired by, for example, the Sri Lankan Sigiriya cave or an Egyptian style. Children are welcome from age 4.
The pools are fed by Saint Eloi thermal water from a depth of 900 m, which the operator describes as rich in iron, minerals and trace elements. The wellness area includes a Finnish sauna, an oriental steam bath, a Sanarium, a panoramic sauna with a Himalayan salt wall and sensory showers. A family pool with warm thermal water was added in 2026.
