About

Heiltherme Bad Vigaun is a thermal spa near Salzburg in Austria. According to the operator, its heart is the St. Barbara spring at 34 °C, recognised as a healing spring by the Salzburg provincial government in 1978. The water feeds a Roman pool (35 °C), an indoor pool (31 °C) and an outdoor pool (from 27 °C).

The sauna area offers an aroma steam bath, a brine steam bath, a sanarium, Finnish saunas, infrared cabins and an outdoor rock sauna with a sauna garden and a cold plunge pool, looking out to the Tennengau mountains. For resting there are a panorama relaxation room, a sun terrace and a dark room with water beds. The operator says the spa is not suitable for children under 6.
